Our Story & Philosophy

Roseville Dance - Ballroom Latin Fitness, now open in Roseville, California, is a beautiful, brand new studio with a touch of class and a warm atmosphere.  The floating bamboo floors are for easy dancing.  Studio owners, Sergey and Eleni Malko, are committed to providing a friendly, family oriented environment with the highest quality of dance teaching in the Roseville and surrounding areas. “We want our students and those interested in becoming part of our studio family to feel confident and alive when they dance with us.“  We want dancing to bring smiles and joy to those around us.“

Roseville Dance provides private and a large variety of group lessons in Ballroom, Latin and Night Club Styles for social dancers, mini group and wedding packages as well as showcase performances and all levels of competition for those avid competitors.  Roseville Dance also offers fun dance fitness classes and classes for kids and teens.  In the last few months, we acquired two additional suites right next door to our existing studio.  We have expanded the size of the studio to provide an even larger ballroom dance floor for the most passionate of dancers.  The new addition is now complete and fully operational.  All are welcome to visit the Roseville Dance Studios.  Our motto is “Dance for Fun and Health.“

Meet Sergey & Eleni

Dancing is a very huge and important part of our lives and who we are. We have been dancing for almost four decades combined.  We met on the dance floor and the rest is history as they say. After we got married in June of 2007, the idea and desire to open our own dance studio was made reality when we were given the opportunity to do so in Roseville.  We opened Roseville Dance in November 2007 with a dream to have the largest, most professional and fun studio in the area.  That is why Roseville Dance has some of the most talented, professional and fun Dance Instructors from around the world!  Our dream has become a reality!  Roseville Dance in West Roseville is rapidly growing and offers a beautiful, fun place to dance.  Come and see our beautiful studio for yourself!  We would love to give you a personalized tour!!

Martin Casillas Bio Photo temp

Martin Casillas - Instructor Exchange Program

Instructs the following class(es): West Coast Swing Interm/Advanced

As a graduating senior from the University of California at Davis, Martin began dancing simply to relieve stress from the pressures of the UC Davis’ engineering program. It was at this point, when two things happened: He first saw the UC Davis Ballroom Dance Troupe perform a beautiful Viennese Waltz; and he was first introduced to Gwen Burton who at the time was a teaching assistant for Jere Curry’s very popular Ballroom Dance class on campus. Both of these occurrences proved instrumental, and whether it was the joy Martin experienced watching the Troupe perform…or the inspiration Gwen’s smile and dedication to dance provided…Martin was soon hooked. He joined the UC Davis Ballroom Dance Troupe, and for the next several years, performed many different Ballroom and Latin routines with the Troupe.

In the spring of 2003, a group of friends took first place in a high school talent show. Greg Saniatan, Ivan Nguyen and C-Jay Mateo performed in that competition. They are the founders of Stepboys Productions. Through the years, the Stepboys developed as a close group of friends with similar interest in break-dancing. The Stepboys became known for entertaining the crowd in very unique ways. Their diverse and unorthodox stage presence separates them from other dance crews and dance companies. They perform at many events such as dance shows, birthday celebrations and many charities across the Sacramento Region and the Bay Area; they are looking to expand their horizons.
